Admissions Criteria
Level of academic achievement as indicated by the students 6th, 7th and first quarter 8th grade report cards
Standardized test scores in mathematics and reading
Teacher recommendations from the 8th grade science, mathematics, and language arts teachers.
Evaluation of two essays written by the applicant.
Completion of Geometry before entering the Science and Mathematics Academy, in the fall of the freshman year.
